\n Consecutive Month of Record Grain Movements as Company Prepares for Winter<\/em>

MONTREAL, Dec. 03, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE: CNI) is pleased to announce that it has set a new grain movement record in November with over 3.12 million metric tonnes (MMT) of Canadian grain moved. This follows an all-time record of 3.27 MMT moved in October and builds on monthly records going back to March 2020.<\/p>\n

Containerized grain is also setting records by moving at an unprecedented pace with over 400,000 metric tonnes shipped directly from western Canada alone since the beginning of the crop year, in addition to the tonnage shipped from eastern Canada.<\/p>\n
