In addition to marking this achievement, BMO is sponsoring the Entrepreneurs Award, recognizing 14 women business owners who are growing their businesses while navigating challenging circumstances during the pandemic. The sponsorship is part of BMO&#8217;s ongoing work to support small businesses in making real financial progress, especially those led by women. <\/p>\n<p>Launched in 2003, the Top 100 Awards celebrate the incredible accomplishments of\u00a0Canada&#8217;s\u00a0leading female executive talent as well as their organizations and networks. The awards serve to recognize talented leaders in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors as well as inspire the current and next generation of women to push the boundaries of what&#8217;s possible. The winners are selected by WXN&#8217;s Diversity Council of <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Named to <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada&#8217;s<\/span> Most Powerful Women list, <span class=\"xn-person\">Sheri Griffiths<\/span> has an MBA from <span class=\"xn-org\">Dalhousie University<\/span> and more than three decades of extensive retail and commercial banking experience. Her tenure at BMO spans 20 years; in her current role, she leads Commercial Banking throughout <span class=\"xn-location\">Greater Ontario<\/span>.
