We claimed gross profits on two sales in third quarter and closed our <span class=\"xn-location\">Dallas<\/span> farmland sale at a significant margin of profit at the beginning\u00a0of fourth quarter,&#8221; explains <span class=\"xn-person\">Greg Bankston<\/span>, UC Asset&#8217;s managing partner. <\/p>\n<p>According to the official records, UC Asset acquired the <span class=\"xn-location\">Dallas<\/span> farmland in 2016 at the price of <span class=\"xn-money\">$805,216<\/span>, and sold in 2020 for <span class=\"xn-money\">$1.3 million<\/span>. After taking in account the other costs of about <span class=\"xn-money\">$50,000<\/span>, the gross margin on this sale for UC Asset is approximately 55%.<\/p>\n<p>On <span class=\"xn-chron\">Friday, November 27<\/span>, UC Asset listed an additional property for sale, asking for <span class=\"xn-money\">$1.35 million<\/span> (link to the listing: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/matrix.fmlsd.mlsmatrix.com\/Matrix\/Public\/Portal.aspx?ID=DE-154754775999\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/matrix.fmlsd.mlsmatrix.com\/Matrix\/Public\/Portal.aspx?ID=DE-154754775999<\/a>). The firm acquired the property in 2017 at the price of <span class=\"xn-money\">$355,000<\/span>, and\u00a0tore down and rebuilt it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If we close on this property by year&#8217;s end it will further increase our 4th\u00a0quarter profit,&#8221; says <span class=\"xn-person\">Greg Bankston<\/span>, &#8220;If not, we are confident that this property will sell at a satisfying price in the first quarter of 2021.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If\u00a0the new sale realized, it will further improve UC Asset&#8217;s cash position.
