SAN DIEGO, Nov. 23, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Beam Global<\/u><\/a>, (Nasdaq: BEEM<\/a>, BEEMW) (\u201cBeam\u201d or \u201cthe Company\u201d), a provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (\u201cEV\u201d) charging, outdoor media and energy security, today announced that it has entered into an underwriting agreement with Maxim Group LLC under which the underwriter has agreed to purchase, on a firm commitment basis, 250,000 shares of common stock of the Company, at a price to the public of $30.00 per share, less underwriting discounts and commissions. The gross proceeds from the public offering will be approximately $7.5 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses.<\/p>\n

Maxim Group LLC is acting as the sole manager for the offering.<\/p>\n

The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about November\u00a027, 2020, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n

The offering is being made pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 that was filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the \u201cSEC\u201d) on May 26, 2020 and declared effective on June 4, 2020.
