Annaly Capital Management, Inc. Announces Redemption of All 18,400,000 Outstanding Shares of 7.50% Series D Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock<\/b><\/p>\n

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–
\nAnnaly Capital Management, Inc. (NYSE: NLY), a Maryland corporation (\u201cAnnaly\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d), today provided notice to the record holders (the \u201cNotice of Redemption\u201d) of the Company\u2019s 7.50% Series D Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock (the \u201cSeries D Preferred Stock\u201d) of the redemption of all 18,400,000 of the issued and outstanding shares of Series D Preferred Stock. The cash redemption amount (the \u201cRedemption Amount\u201d) for each share of Series D Preferred Stock is $25.00 plus accrued and unpaid dividends to, but not including, the redemption date of December 23, 2020 (the \u201cRedemption Date\u201d).\n<\/p>\n

\nOn the Redemption Date, dividends on the Series D Preferred Stock will cease to accumulate and all rights relating to the Series D Preferred Stock will terminate, except the right to receive the Redemption Amount. Payment of the Redemption Amount will be made only upon delivery and surrender of the Series D Preferred Stock to Computershare Inc., the Company\u2019s redemption and paying agent, during its normal business hours at the address specified in the Notice of Redemption.\n<\/p>\n
