CATSKILL, N.Y., Nov. 20, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Greene County Bancorp, Inc. announced today that the Board of Directors has appointed Paul Slutzky to serve as Chairman of the Board.<\/p>\n

Mr. Slutzky will be succeeding Martin Smith, in a planned retirement transition following Mr. Smith\u2019s announced plan to retire from the Board. Mr. Smith had served on the Board of Directors since 1993, and was named Chairman in 2005.<\/p>\n

Mr. Slutzky joined the Bank\u2019s Board of Directors in 1992. Mr. Slutzky is a former co-owner of Hunter Mountain Ski Area and affiliated companies. He is also retired from I. & O. A. Slutzky, Inc., a general construction company. Mr. Slutzky brings over 40 years of valuable business and leadership skills, financial acumen, and many other qualities that are beneficial to the Board.<\/p>\n
