NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–
\nWestern Asset High Income Fund II Inc. (NYSE: HIX) (the \u201cFund\u201d) announced today the final results for its issuer tender offer for up to 35% of the outstanding shares of common stock (\u201cShares\u201d) of the Fund. The Fund\u2019s tender offer expired on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:59 p.m., New York City time.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Fund accepted 25,577,060.24 duly tendered and not withdrawn Shares, representing approximately 30.36% of the Fund\u2019s outstanding Shares. The Shares accepted for tender were repurchased at a price of $7.01 equal to 99.5% of the per Share net asset value, $7.05, as of the close of the regular trading session of the New York Stock Exchange on November 17, 2020. Payment for such Shares will be made on or about November 19, 2020. Shares that were not tendered will remain outstanding.\n<\/p>\n
