\nTraceSCAN wearables were created in an effort to offer ongoing frontline assistance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic through a joint effort between Facedrive Health and a group of researchers from the University of Waterloo in April 2020. It has subsequently developed a unique Bluetooth wearable technology integration, been endorsed by the Government of Ontario, and started implementation with multiple large employers as they practice safe return-to-work policies in environments where the use of mobile devices is restricted.
