NEW YORK and CUPERTINO, Calif., Nov. 18, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Tenzing Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands (\u201cTenzing\u201d) (NASDAQ: TZAC), and Reviva Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Delaware corporation (\u201cReviva\u201d) and a California-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing therapies that address unmet medical needs in the areas of central nervous system (CNS), cardiovascular, metabolic, and inflammatory diseases, today announced that an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Tenzing (the “Shareholder Meeting”) to approve the pending business combination between Tenzing and Reviva (the \u201cBusiness Combination\u201d) is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., Eastern time. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on in-person meetings, the Shareholder Meeting will be completely virtual and conducted via live webcast.<\/p>\n

Tenzing filed its definitive proxy statement\/prospectus with respect to the Shareholder Meeting related to the Business Combination (the “Proxy Statement”) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on November 12, 2020 and began mailing it to Tenzing shareholders on\u00a0November 13, 2020.
