Joyce has over 20 years of news and sales experience, including four years at Scripps stations. Most recently, he served as director of sales at KMGH, Scripps’ ABC affiliate in Denver<\/span>. Prior to that, he served as director of sales at KGUN and KWBA, Scripps’ ABC and CW affiliates in Tucson, Arizona.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Before joining Scripps, Joyce was a local sales manager and national sales manager at KOLD in Tucson and a local sales manager at KBMT\/KJAC in Beaumont, Texas<\/span>. He also served in leadership roles with London Broadcasting in Dallas<\/span>, including director of news and programming and vice president and general manager of KTXD.<\/p>\n

Joyce launched his broadcast career in Texas<\/span> as a sports journalist for KETK in Tyler<\/span> before moving into sports director roles at KBTV in Beaumont<\/span> and KYTX in Tyler<\/span>. <\/p>\n

He will replace Bob Hermes<\/span>, who is retiring from his role as vice president and general manager in January after 40 years in broadcasting. Hermes joined KPAX as a sales manager in 1987 and was promoted to his current role in 1997. <\/p>\n
