Burlington, VT, Nov. 17, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Gardener\u2019s Supply Company, one of the nation\u2019s largest multi-channel marketers of gardening products and accessories, has announced that Jim Feinson, CEO, will leave his position at the end of 2020.\u00a0 Jim joined Gardener\u2019s Supply Company in February 1988 and became President in 1999 and CEO in 2008.\u00a0\u00a0 Under his leadership, the company transformed their catalog marketing business to online marketing, increased new product development and expanded to four retail garden centers in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.\u00a0 Jim will continue to contribute to the success of the company as an Advisory Board Member.\u00a0 The current President, Cindy Turcot, will be promoted to President and CEO.\u00a0 Cindy is a founding employee of Gardener\u2019s Supply and previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.\u00a0\u00a0Cindy is recognized as a leader of the employee ownership (ESOP) movement nationwide, having helped found the Vermont Employee Ownership Center and served as Chair of both the New England and subsequently the national ESOP Association.
