Integration between Digital Realty’s PlatformDIGITAL\u00ae and Vapor IO’s Kinetic Edge enables Hivelocity to support true core-to-edge workloads on its bare metal cloud<\/h2>\n

The multi-tier edge deployment in Atlanta<\/span> builds upon Digital Realty and Vapor IO’s announcement<\/a><\/u> in June, highlighting the integration of Vapor IO’s Kinetic Edge<\/a><\/u> architecture with Digital Realty’s Network Hub Solution<\/a> on PlatformDIGITAL\u00ae<\/sup>.\u00a0 Hivelocity, a Digital Realty customer<\/span>, was able to quickly extend its bare metal cloud to Vapor IO’s Kinetic Edge locations\u00a0due to<\/span>\u00a0integration work already completed by Vapor IO and Digital Realty. <\/p>\n

The collaboration between Vapor IO and Digital Realty combines the cloud proximity, core, regional edge, local edge <\/span>and interconnection capabilities of PlatformDIGITAL<\/a>\u00ae<\/sup><\/span> with the last–<\/span>mile,<\/span> low-latency, distributed architecture of the Kinetic Edge network.\u00a0 This combination<\/span> offers companies like Hivelocity a seamless<\/span> platform for delivering core-to-edge capabilities that are the basis for many emerging edge use cases.<\/p>\n
