Third Quarter 2020 and Recent Highlights<\/b><\/p>\n <\/span>Summary of study results<\/b>:<\/p>\n Expected Upcoming Milestones<\/b><\/p>\n Third Quarter 2020 Financial Results<\/b><\/p>\n Cash Position:<\/b> Cash and cash equivalents were $103.8 million at September 30, 2020, compared to $98.8 million at December 31, 2019. Together with the net proceeds from the common stock offering in October 2020, pro forma cash and cash equivalents amount to approximately $148 million. Aptinyx expects its current cash balance to support anticipated operations into 2023 and fund completion of multiple clinical studies.\n<\/p>\n Collaboration Revenue:<\/b> Revenue was $0.3 million for the third quarter of 2020, compared to $0.9 million for same period in 2019. Aptinyx\u2019s revenue was derived from its research collaboration agreement (RCA) with Allergan, now a wholly owned subsidiary of AbbVie. In accordance with the terms of the RCA, jointly funded research activities\u2014and the associated payments by Allergan\/AbbVie to Aptinyx\u2014came to their contractual conclusion at the end of August 2020.
