A third of those surveyed even plan to focus on jobs\/careers that can put them in a better financial position. 85% of all Americans say the pandemic has made them more committed to spending less and saving more.<\/p>\n<p>\n        <strong>How Willing are Americans to Meet with Financial Advisors?<\/strong>\n      <\/p>\n<p>Among non-investors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>32% would meet with an advisor to discuss their investment potential<\/li>\n<li>20% wouldn\u2019t, because they believe their financial position would preclude the advisor from taking a meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Among investors without advisors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>42% are willing to meet with one<\/li>\n<li>10% wouldn\u2019t, because they believe their financial position would preclude the advisor from taking a meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since the start of the pandemic, 62% of the investors <em>with<\/em> advisors report a change in how they view the performance of their advisor(s):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>28% feel more positive about their advisor<\/li>\n<li>26% are now questioning who they\u2019re with<\/li>\n<li>8% are now unhappy with their advisor<\/li>\n<li>38% do not report a change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n        <strong>\u201cNot Knowing Where to Start\u201d Second to Financial Position in Investing Deterrents<\/strong>\n      <\/p>\n<p>While 67% of non-investors say their financial situation prevents them from investing, 46% report it\u2019s also a matter of not knowing where to start.
