\nHeavy rains swamped central and eastern Florida beginning Nov. 1, with up to 20 inches of rain, widespread road closures, and more than 60 water rescues in Brevard County alone. Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency that now covers 14 counties.<\/p>\n
