Dr. George Lederman brings experience in corporate and portfolio strategy, operational transformation, and applied artificial intelligence (AI) to improve efficiency and reduce costs.<\/p>\n

At Tonix, Dr. George Lederman will lead AI initiatives across the organization to improve operational efficiency and manage costs. He will also lead business development efforts, including evaluating potential partnerships and licensing opportunities to advance the Company\u2019s clinical programs and share development costs.<\/p>\n

Dr. George Lederman joins Tonix from Aliaxis, a multibillion-dollar global industrial group, where he most recently served as Vice President, Global Strategy. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), he led corporate and portfolio strategy and supported cost savings and operational efficiency initiatives. During his four-year tenure, Aliaxis divested six assets and acquired four companies. He also supported multiple business unit restructuring efforts, including a 10% enterprise-wide fixed cost reduction.<\/p>\n

Previously, Dr. George Lederman was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he helped build the firm\u2019s digitization practice and advised clients on using machine learning, advanced analytics, and AI to reduce costs and improve efficiency. His experience spans corporate strategy, acquisition opportunities, and operational transformations, including work with specialty chemical operations serving healthcare, biopharmaceutical, and industrial applications.<\/p>\n

Dr. George Lederman holds a Ph.D. in Advanced Infrastructure Systems, an engineering discipline, from Carnegie Mellon University, where his research focused on big data and applied machine learning. He also holds Master\u2019s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon and a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering from Princeton University.
