(NYSE: GNW) today announced that Tom McInerney has notified the Board of Directors of his decision to retire as President & Chief Executive Officer and step down from Genworth\u2019s Board of Directors, effective December 31, 2026. At that time, the Board of Directors expects to name Jerome Upton, currently Genworth\u2019s Chief Financial Officer, as President and CEO and appoint him to Genworth\u2019s Board of Directors. Angela Simmons, currently Chief Financial Officer of Genworth\u2019s Closed Block, is expected to become Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.<\/p>\n
