LONDON, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Harsco Environmental, a division of Enviri Corporation (NYSE: NVRI) and a global leader in providing innovative environmental solutions, today announced it has signed a 10-year contract renewal with EZS, a steel mill in Sadat City, Egypt, with a production capacity of one million tons of rebar per year.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, Harsco Environmental will provide furnace and scrap management services at the EZS site, which includes steel-making facilities such as an electric arc furnace, a billet caster, and two rolling mills. Harsco Environmental will help EZS maximize operational efficiency, recover valuable materials, and improve environmental performance.<\/p>\n

EZS is owned by EZZ Steel, the leading steel producer in the Middle East and North Africa, with an average annual production of around 6.5 million tons.
