DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Jacobs<\/a> (NYSE: J) was selected by American Electric Power<\/a> (AEP), the largest electric transmission system operator in the United States, to provide integrated program delivery services supporting the utility’s expanding transmission portfolio across its Eastern region that includes seven states.<\/p>\n

\nOver the next five years, this strategic collaboration will help AEP execute its planned $37B transmission investment. Jacobs\u2019 scope will include end-to-end project delivery for a portfolio of transmission infrastructure projects across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia. Delivery is underway and will continue to ramp up to support AEP\u2019s growing project portfolio.<\/p>\n

\nJacobs will support AEP across a range of services, including project management, project controls, engineering and design, siting, outreach, right-of-way and environmental services.<\/p>\n

\nJacobs will lead an integrated team that includes ORC<\/a>, GFT<\/a> and RC Commonwealth<\/a>, combining decades-long experience with AEP\u2019s design standards, nationwide right-of-way services and engineering and program delivery capabilities. The team will support AEP’s vision for standardized, scalable delivery of its transmission portfolio.<\/p>\n
