Farm Forward provides a framework for participating farmers to share in the value created through regenerative agriculture practices while supporting and strengthening rural communities. Participating growers may be eligible to earn premiums ranging from $0.05 to $0.25 per qualifying bushel, with five performance bands designed to create multiple opportunities to maximize value returned to producers.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cFarmers should have the opportunity to share in the value they help create,\u201d said Chris Osowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Green Plains. \u201cFarm Forward connects that opportunity directly to farmers while helping us lower the carbon intensity of our feedstocks, increase the value generated through 45Z and strengthen the long-term value of our platform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nFarm Forward is designed to help participating growers document qualifying practices and share in the resulting value, while helping Green Plains capture additional value from the production of lower carbon intensity fuels.
