The TSN is a full-scope simulator that will replicate plant equipment and simulate system conditions and operations to support operator training and licensing. It is built on Curtiss-Wright\u2019s 3KEYMASTER\u2122 simulation software\u2014a real-time, high-fidelity simulation and analysis platform with an extensive installed base in nuclear, power, and process facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cCurtiss-Wright is pleased to announce the successful development and installation of the Natrium Training Simulator at the Kemmerer site,\u201d said Lynn M. The storage technology can boost the system\u2019s output to 500-megawatts of power when needed as it is designed to keep base output steady, ensuring constant reliability, and can quickly ramp up when demand peaks\u2014it is the only advanced reactor design with this unique feature.
