Global X Launches Asia Semiconductor ETF to Harness Region\u2019s Industry Leadership<\/b><\/p>\n
The Fund tracks an index focused on semiconductor design, chips, intellectual property, and software enablement<\/i><\/p>\n
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Global X Management Company LLC<\/a> (\u201cGlobal X\u201d), the New York-based provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), today announced the launch of the Global X Asia Semiconductor ETF<\/a> (ticker ACHP).<\/p>\n \nACHP (\u201cthe Fund\u201d) seeks to invest in companies that are positioned to benefit from the growth and advancement of the Asian semiconductor ecosystem. This includes companies involved in semiconductor chip manufacturing as well as semiconductor design and related intellectual property and software enablement.<\/p>\n \nAlthough the semiconductor industry has expanded globally, Asia\u2019s leadership in the space is undeniable. The Fund aims to track an index of up to 25 companies across Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia that delivers access to the regional semiconductor ecosystem.<\/p>\n \n\u201cWe know that markets are cyclical, but innovation is persistent. The firm\u2019s largest disruptive technology fund \u2013 launched more than four years before the public release of ChatGPT \u2013 is the $10.56 billion Artificial Intelligence & Technology ETF (ticker AIQ), which aims to invest in the wider AI-driven ecosystem, as of October 12, 2026.<\/p>\n \nACHP is part of a suite of ETFs recently launched by Global X that seek to provide investors with targeted exposure to specialized segments of the technology supply chain via a single, transparent ETF. The suite includes the Global X LLM ETF<\/a> (ticker LLMA) that seeks to provide targeted exposure to companies involved in large language models, and the Global X MLCC & Electronic Components ETF<\/a> (ticker MLCC), which is focused on the manufacturers of multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and related components.<\/p>\n \nACHP is designed to capture both established leaders in semiconductor manufacturing as well as design innovators across Asian markets.<\/p>\n \n\u201cThe semiconductor industry is incredibly complex and capital intensive.
