The installation pairs a 39.4-kWDC solar photovoltaic system with a 50 kW \/ 184 kWh BESS, expected to offset approximately 100% of the Main Office&#8217;s electrical consumption while delivering more than 24 hours of onsite backup power during grid disruptions, improving power reliability for critical operations that serve the Roseburg community.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe project was funded through a combination of support from the Oregon Department of Energy&#8217;s Community Renewable Energy Program (C-REP), Energy Trust of Oregon, and Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Main Office installation is the first phase of a broader energy infrastructure initiative developed in collaboration with Ameresco, which also includes planned solar PV projects at RUSA&#8217;s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Natural Treatment System (NTS).
