The retailer\u2019s job is to meet them at that moment: have the product ready, where it should be and at the right price. If you can do that, you\u2019ll have a happy holiday season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>What the data shows<br \/>\n<br \/><\/b>Sensormatic Solutions predicts Asia Pacific in-store traffic will peak towards the end of November and remain strong deep into December. Overall, holiday retail traffic across the Asia Pacific markets analyzed is expected to remain relatively stable, with predicted increases in total retail traffic performance in Hong Kong (+6%), China (+5%), Singapore (+1.5%) and South Korea (+3%), while Australia (-4.5%) and New Zealand (-1%) are expected to see slightly softer traffic.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cThe slightly muted traffic compared to previous years may lead retailers to feel that they\u2019re fighting an uphill battle, but it only tells half of the story,\u201d said Grant Gustafson, head of retail consulting and analytics at Sensormatic Solutions, whose team predicts the season&#8217;s top busiest days. \u201cWhile individual visits have been trending downward throughout the year, conversion rates are rising.
