(Nasdaq: TRDA) today announced the recipients of its 2026 DREAMS Grant Program: a competitive annual program that awards two $50,000 grants in support of projects working to better identify, understand and reach members of the Duchenne muscular dystrophy community who are currently underrepresented or underserved. An Independent Grant Review Committee, consisting of neuromuscular specialists, patient advocates and health equity advocates, is responsible for reviewing and selecting the grant recipients, and one U.S.-based non-profit and one non-profit in the U.K. or EU is selected.<\/p>\n<p>\n        <strong>Entrada DREAMS Grant Recipients<\/strong>\n      <\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n          <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parentprojectmd.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD)<\/a>\u00a0is a U.S.-based patient advocacy organization that for more than 30 years has worked to accelerate the development of therapies, strengthen standards of care and advance policies benefiting the Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy communities. PPMD also manages The Duchenne Registry, the world\u2019s largest patient-reported outcomes database for Duchenne and Becker. Earlier in 2026, PPMD embarked on a national Care Landscape Assessment through its Certified Duchenne Care Center (CDCC) network to better understand how individuals living with Duchenne access coordinated, multidisciplinary care across the lifespan. The DREAMS Grant will enable PPMD to operationalize learnings from the assessment and take steps to improve outcomes and create scalable models for access to specialized Duchenne care for underserved communities, with a focus on adults and individuals living in rural communities. By investing in adult care infrastructure, multilingual resources, provider education and community engagement, this project will establish lasting resources that continue to improve equitable access over time.<\/li>\n<li>\n          <a href=\"https:\/\/duchenne.nl\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Duchenne Parent Project Netherlands<\/a> is a parent-founded organization committed to improving the lives of people living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It supports and funds research into new treatments and a cure, while advocating for better care, support and quality of life. One of its actions is to mobilize scientists, doctors and companies to accelerate research for Duchenne. Funds from the 2026 DREAMS Grant will support further implementation of Duchenne Barrier Breaker (DBB), an innovative early-intervention program designed to promote autonomy, self-confidence and social participation as individuals living with Duchenne transition into adulthood.
